Korintje Cassia Cinnamon, the most popular cinnamon, is cultivated in the Sumatra- Java
region of Indonesia. It's hard rolled thick bark is rolled in a single later.
It has a spicy-sweet aroma with a pleasant slightly bitter flavor and smooth taste.
Korintje cinnamon isn't quite as sweet as Vietnamese Cinnamon.
It has 2-3% cinnamon oil content.
Suggested Uses:
Korintje Cassia Cinnamon is the most common cinnamon used in desserts, chocolates and beverages. It is a key ingredient in many spice blends. It adds a sweet flavor to a variety of breads, cakes and cookies.
Also adds richly sweet flavor to savory dishes. Use whole or grind the sticks as needed.
To Grind: Break the sticks and grind in a manual or automatic coffee grinder, until
the sticks are powdered.
