CORIANDER SEEDS
(Coriandrum Sativum)
These small, round and light brown colored Moroccan Coriander seeds, also known as
'European Coriander', are dried fruit / seeds of the coriander plant known as cilantro, native to Mediterranean region.
The flavor profile of the Moroccan Coriander is slightly milder than Indian coriander, spicy (not hot), delicately fragrant aroma and warm with citrusy undertones.
Roasting the seeds in a dry pan enhance the flavor and aroma.
Suggested Uses:
Moroccan Coriander seeds are a component of North African and Middle Eastern spice blends, brings an earthy flavor to all kinds of meat, fish and vegetable dishes.
Also used to flavor pickles, Soups, cabbage- based dishes, game casseroles, sausages,
salamis and many deli meats; and baked goods, especially cakes & breads.
