Ground Roasted Fennel seeds are roasted and ground dried fruit of the highly aromatic
and flavorful fennel plant flowers. Roasted Fennel seeds have a nuttier, warmer,
licorice-like taste of the fennel seeds, lend an earthy, sweet taste to dishes.
Suggested Uses:
Ground roasted fennel seeds can be used in baked goods such as bread, biscuits, cookies
and cakes, liberally sprinkled on soups and stews. Add to spice blends or to flavour
marinade for grilled fish, chicken or lamb kebobs. Add to salad or sprinkle
them into stir-fries, or scatter them over roasted or steamed vegetables.
Health Benefits:
Medicinally fennel seeds have been used to settle the stomach. Fennel tea is an
excellent digestive aid, relieves abdominal cramp, gas and bloating.
