Cocoyam Fufu flour is used to prepare traditional African Fufu meal. Made with fermented cocoyam (tubers of elephant ear plant) & cassava and milled into floury powder. It is cooked into a very smooth and soft dough, and serve as a great side dish to any protein-rich food. Also can be used for frying meats, fish and poultry as well as thickening gravy, soup or stew.
To cook: Gradually add 1 cup boiling water to 4 oz flour and stir. Place over heat and knead to make a soft, smooth and thick dough. For desired consistency. May add more flour or water.
