Ginger root is the underground stem or rhizome of an aromatic and tropical flowering
ginger plant. Dried ginger is the dehydrated form of fresh ginger, and has a characteristic
warm and spicy,pungent and tangy taste. Has stronger and more aromatic flavor
than fresh ginger.
Suggested Uses:
Dried ginger is the staple of Asian, Indian and Caribbean cuisines. Also used in Middle
Eastern and North African cuisines. Can be ground and crushed and used in baked goods,
seasoning mixes or added to sweet and savory dishes, stir-fries, sauces, curries, chutneys,
salad dressings, marinades, beverages.
