Ginger root powder is the dried root, or rhizome of the ginger plant, ground to a
fine powder. It has a characteristic warm and spicy, pungent and tangy taste. Has stronger and more aromatic flavor than fresh ginger.
Suggested Uses:
Ground ginger is the staple of Asian, Indian and Caribbean cuisines. Also used in Middle
Eastern and North African cuisines. Can be used in baked goods, seasoning mixes or added to sweet and savory dishes, stir-fries, sauces, curries, chutneys, salad
dressings, marinades, beverages.
1 Tablespoon of fresh Ginger is roughly equal to 1/8 teaspoon of Ginger Powder.
