Jowar flour is made by grinding Jowar grain (white millet / white Sorghum grain), rich inanti-oxidants & fiber, high in protein and iron. It has a creamy white color and texture, and a fairly mild, nutty & sweet flavor.
Jowar flour is a popular alternative to wheat flour and a wonderful ingredient for gluten free baking.
Often cooked as a porridge, or make soft and nutritious Jowar roti, Jowar dosa, or Jowar bhakri, a healthy traditional flatbreads.
