Turkey rhubarb is a purgative and is most often used in chronic constipation. It cleanses the colon and smooth muscles of the intestine. Also used for stomach pain, gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding, reduce pain from swelling or inflammation, bacterial infections, liver and gallbladder complaints.*
To make tea: Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1tsp root and steep it in a cup for 5-10 minutes, strain & drink 2 times a day.
