1st, Kalustyan's is great, please don't think this reflects on them, but this survey asks me my thoughts on the Pandan Kaya from Aria's. It arrived in good order; excellent packaging. However, when I opened it there was an off-putting odor. I hazarded a tiny taste... Sweet, but very funky and unpleasant. I happened to order two jars so I decided to see if the second was in the same condition. It was actually worse - Vile rotten egg smell and a runny greasy looking cloudy liquid on top of the actual curd. I don't know what's going on at Aria's, maybe they aren't sterilizing properly after they fill their jars, but the packaging is perfect, lids tight,... No external indication of the product being rough inside. Tags even say it was made this same month. Kalustyan's did already refund my purchase.
