Epazote is a native to Mexican & Central American herb, has distinctive tart, strong pungent odor and musky flavor with a faint bitter-lemony notes.
Adds a unique taste to Mexican and Latin American soups, salsas, stews & bean dishes. It is best added to the end of the cooking.
Use 1tsp per pound of dried beans.
Epazote is a carminative (reduces gas) and prevent Flatulence.
