Mediterranean Oregano related to mint family, grows throughout the Greece, Turkey & Italian region, also called ‘wild marjoram’. It has a strong warm aroma, pungent and slightly bitter in taste.
Used in Mediterranean and Italian seasoning blends, tomato sauces, pizzas, grilled meats, vinaigrette, soups, cream sauces, salad dressing. Also in egg, cheese, poultry and seafood dishes for strong flavors.
