Why do raisins have to be infused with a cheap sunflower oil? And why wouldn't Kalustyan mention this fact in ots online description of the product on line? Do raisins look plumper and juicier? Oh, yes. But do I want this cheap fat in my scones? NO.

Great flavor but raisins need a little plumping. I measure the amount I need, toss them with water or orange juice and then microwave for a minute. Let them sit to plump a bit, then drain and add to your recipe.
