12 oz,2 lb Tapioca Pearls is made from raw Cassava / Tapioca roots, that are crushed in a tank and its milk/juice is extracted and stored for few days which changes its nature and turns into light paste. It is then processed dyed into old fashioned White/ Off-White large balls, which are dried. Large tapioca pearls, exact same taste as the medium and mini pearls.
Tapioca is often confused with ‘Sago’, which is actually the sap of the sago palm, a different species than Tapioca.
