Turanicum is an organic ancient wheat grain imported from Italy, also known as ‘Oriental Wheat’, is an excellent source of iron. It has a smooth, buttery, nutty flavor, and has texture and taste is similar to Farro grain.
Can be used with a wide variety of herbs, spices, vegetables and meats to create side dishes, soups and salads.
Cooking instruction: Soak Turanicum in water for about 12 hours. Add to a pot of boiling water and cook, covered, for about 25-30 minutes. Drain and serve.
