Methocel® A4C is "A" grade strong gelling, low viscosity refined methylcellulose. Cold/hot soluble, thermoreversible gel.
Acts as a general thickener and stabilizer for foods and beverages. Essential for hot ice cream recipe, hot instant noodles, binding matrix foods, oil reduction, hot cling for sauces, pre-dusts and batters.
It forms a firm gel at 122-131°F (50-55°C). Yields viscosity of 400 cP at low addition level.
