Bamboo mushrooms are dried bamboo fungus,
easily distinguished by their long, thin, almost
largely intact lacy “skirts” or “veils”. These dried
bamboo mushrooms are highly prized by chefs
for their lacy & delicate texture that is balanced
by their deep, rich, earthy flavor.
Sautéed bamboo mushrooms compliment to
steaks and poultry, or chopped up and added to
casseroles, sauces and stuffings, or tir-fry in
sesame oil for a delicious addition to meats,
rice and tofu
