Timur / Timir Pepper is the dried husk of a seed, a relative of Szechuan Peppercorn, grows wild in the mid-hills across the Nepalese Mahabharat mountain range, are dark brown in color.
Flavor & Aroma: Mildly piquant, bright grapefruit-like citrus aroma, tangy sweet & floral flavor accompanied by tongue tingling, mouth numbing properties.
Uses: It is an integral part of Nepali curry powders and seasonings. Used in vegetable dishes & curries. Ideal for grilled red meats, fish and seafood.
