Black Venus Rice

Venere Nero Rice is Italian hybrid of Chinese black forbidden rice with an Italian variety. This semi round grain has black natural ebony color, naturally aromatic and have great texture.

Perfect for unique dishes or good pasta dishes and is ideal for salads, cold dishes or risotto.

Cooking Instructions for plain rice:

1. In a sauce pan add 3 cups of water / Cup rice


2. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, cover with lid and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until rice is tender.


3. Drain the excess water & season to taste.


4. Serve the rice as a bed for meats, seafood, vegetables, or prepare it as a side dish.

One cup of rice will yield: 3 cups of cooked rice.
