Muscovado Sugar
AKA ‘ Barbados Sugar, Kandasari, Khand'
Light Muscovado sugar is the least refined cane sugar. When Cane extract is heated, gives off all the moisture content and along with only a portion of its molasses component, giving the sugar a light brown color with fine, moist texture with its rich aroma and delicate molasses flavor.
This sugar contains higher levels of various minerals and antioxidants than processed brown sugar.
Commonly used in baking, cooking. It enhances the taste of bread, cakes, biscuits, desserts, marinades and sauces. Also used in sweetening tea and coffee.
