Usage: Garam Masala is usually added at the end of the cooking process or often as the final garnish of a dish. Add 1-2tsp Garam Masala to 4 servings of beef or lamb stew.
Ingredients: Coriander, Cumin, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Mace, Cloves.
Garam Masala is the secret weapon in my spice arsenal. Not only do I use it in my Indian/Pakistani curries and veggie dishes, I've incorporated it into many of my favorite Italian dishes as well. Thankfully, I've no need to blend my own spices. Kalustyan's house brand is superior and does all the work for you. I restock every Autumn and transfer the Garam Masala to air tight glass canisters. Placed in the fridge, it loses none of it's essence. I highly recommend you patronize Kalustyans for all your spice, chutney, grains, & desert needs.
