Mexican Seasoning
This blend of rich spices and chili peppers, is perfect for seasoning up ground meat for creating the patties for spicy hamburger, tacos of Mexican casseroles, as well as in enchiladas.
Also make a great dry rub on meats before grilling or as topping seasoning for popcorn, or add to mashed avocado, sour cream and lemon juice to make dip or season your favorite homemade salad dressing.
Ingredients:
Chili Peppers, Garlic, Onion, Paprika, Cumin, Celery Seed, Oregano, Cayenne, Bay Leaf.
Contains silicon Dioxide as Anticaking Agent.
Recipe for seasoning meat for tacos:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble 1lb ground beef into the hot skillet. Cook and stir until the beef is completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain and discard any excess grease. Add 2-3tbsp Mexican seasoning, 2tsp tomato paste and ½ cup water, stir to mix, bring to simmer and cook until water absorbs in the meat. Serve as tacos, roll into burritos, top with shredded cheese, sour cream or guacamole.
