Shish Kebab (Seekh Kebab) is a kebab variant is popular in the whole of Asia. Shish kebab are made with tender cuts of whole chunks of beef, lamb or chicken marinaded, skewered and cooked/grilled in BBQ grill or Tandoor.
Suggested Usage:
Use approximately 2-4tsp per pound of beef, lamb or chicken cubes.
Ingredients:
Cumin, Crushed Red pepper, Corn Starch, Salt, Paprika, Ginger, Coriander, Black Pepper, Garlic, Onion, Cilantro, Parsley, Citric Acid.
Simple recipe to make Shish Kebab:
In a bowl add 1/2 cup olive oil, 1tbsp white vinegar and mix in with 3-4tsp kebab seasoning. Add 2lb beef 1” beef cubes. Marinate in the refrigerator 8-24 hours or until ready to grill. Remove from the refrigerator, spray some cooking oil over the skewers, and thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers.
Spray grill with cooking oil, grill beef cubes for 5-6 min on each side or until done. Serve on a plate with grilled vegetables, salad, and pita or nan bread.
