Ingredients: Black Cumin, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Bay Leaves. Recipe to prepare Plain Pulao/ Pilaf Rice: In 2 quart saucepan, heat oil 2tbsp ghee/ oil on medium high heat. Add 1 1/2tsp spice mix and stir fry for 3-5 seconds, discard the spices (opt). Add 1cup washed and rinsed basmati rice and 2 cups of water, add salt to taste, bring to boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer until rice is fully cooked and all the water is absorbed. Take off from heat, let it rest for 10-15 minutes with the lid on, before serving.
