Black Mustard seeds are the seeds of mustard plants, native to North Africa,
Europe and Asia. They are larger in size, have spicy & earthy flavor, more pungent and less bitter than yellow or brown mustard seeds.
Black mustard seeds are mostly used in spicy mustard sauce & condiments, pickling brine, spice blends and added to flavor dishes, soups and vegetables. Usually tempered
in oil, making them less spicy-nutty with mild and sweet aroma
Mustard seeds are an excellent source of selenium and a very good source of omega-3 fatty acids and manganese.
