These Crushed Nora peppers are fat and round, deep dark red colored Spanish Nora Chilie that are crushed or coarsely ground into flakes. Nora Chilies are cultivated in the Spanish Valencia region and are very mild in heat with a sweet yet earthy taste and gives the dish a typical red color.
Mostly used in Italian soups, stews, crab cakes, chorizo sausage, rice dishes like arroz a banda and paella, mashed potatoes, Romesco sauce, and sautéed vegetables.
