Buckwheat Groats, Organic, Gluten Free
Buckwheat groats are the whole, hulled form of buckwheat. They are small, angular hulled seeds of the buckwheat plant, and have light tan color with green hints. Buckwheat is a highly nutritious whole grain, and it has quite mild taste and has nutty flavor.
When roasted or toasted, the flavor become more intense and nuttier. Use in pilafs, cold
salads or breakfast porridge.
Cooking Instruction: Rinse 1 cup Buckwheat Groats in cold water. Boil 2 cups water and add Buckwheat Groats. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until puffy and water is evaporated.
