This whole grain Basmati rice is grown in India, has its nutritious brown bran layer intact. Has the fragrance of aromatic basmati rice, offering nuttier flavor, firmer texture, and is much healthier than white rice.
- In a sauce pan add 2 Cups of water/ Cup of washed & rinsed rice.
- Stir lightly, bring to a rolling boil, lower the heat, cover and simmer for 35-45 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, let the rice steamed in the covered pot at least another 10 to 20 minutes or until the rice has absorbed the liquid.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
1 Cup of Rice will yield: 3 cups of cooked rice.
