Extra Coarse Bulgur are also called ‘Half Cut kernels’, is a hulled wheat berries that are parboiled, dried, ground and sifted to extra-coarse grain. When soaked,it has earthy, nutty flavor and tender, fluffy texture.
This extra coarse bulgur are good for adding hearty texture to soups, pilafs and stuffing.
Rinse and stir 2 cups boiling water into 1 cup bulgur and let stand 25-30 minutes, drain excess water. Fluff with fork before serving.
