Kudampuli is a tropical fruit, also known as Gambodge, Malabar Tamarind, and Fish-Tamarind. As the fruit ripens, it’s seeded, and sun dried. The fruit is too acidic, used in cooking and food preparation to add sourness. Widely used in Kerala cuisines, especially in fish curries and seafood.
