Coarse Brown Bulgur is a whole red wheat berries that are parboiled, dried, ground and sifted to coarse grain. It is a nutritious, versatile wheat with a richer-nutty flavor and tender chewy texture.
Used in salads, stews, soups, bakery goods, meatless burgers, breads, pilafs, stuffing or for a delicious breakfast porridge.
Rinse and stir 2 cups boiling water into 1 cup bulgur and let stand 15 minutes, drain excess water. Fluff with fork before serving.
