Yellow Mustard Seeds ( Brassica alba) Most Common, light tan, Mustard Seeds, originated in the Mediterranean area. The yellow mustard seeds has a fresh clean aroma and a pungent biting flavor with substantially less heat than black and brown mustard seeds. Contains more fiber but less oil than brown mustard seeds. Yellow mustard seed is the most commonly used mustard seed. Adds zest to a wide variety of dishes. Use as a garnish for pickles, relishes, pickled meats and salad dressings.
