Simple Recipe for Shrimp Stew with seafood seasoning:
Heat the oil in a large, heavy skillet (preferably cast iron) over high heat, stir in ¼ cup chopped onions, ¼ cup chopped celery, ¼ cup chopped green bell peppers and 1 tablespoon of the ‘Seafood Seasoning Blend’, cook Continue stirring until vegetables are soft ( 5 minutes).
In a sauce pan melt 1/2lb unsalted butter, stir in 2lbs raw peeled medium shrimp, and 1 cup very finely diced green onions, sauté for a minute, add 3 cups seafood stock. Cook, constantly stirring, for 4-6 minutes. Add 1tbso ‘Seafood seasoning blend’, stir until shrimp is cooked and all get heat thru and sauce thickens. Serve over boiled rice or pasta.
