It is a delicious whole spices, adds a sweet warm heat & robust flavor to the Indian Chai (Indian spiced tea with milk & sugar).
Ingredients: Ginger Root, Cinnamon chips, Crushed green Cardamom and Chai flavor.
Suggested Usage: In a coffee grinder grind the spices & store in a jar. 1/8 -1/4 tsp chai masala powder added to black tea with milk & water for 1 cups of Chai.
To Make Masala Chai: In a sauce pan pour ½ cup regular milk,1/2 cup water, 1 tsp tea leaves (preferably Indian Mamari tea) & 1/81/4 tsp crushed Chai Masala. Heat until bubble starts, stir well & bring to a boil. Lower the heat, stir in 1/2 tsp sugar or sweetener of your choice and bring to boil again.Turn off the heat, cover & let stand for 3-5 minutes. Strain and serve.
