Aji Panca peppers are commonly grown on the coast of Peru. When dried, the chili takes an earthy dark brown hue, a fruity, berry-like sweetness. Also its smokiness layered a top of this sweetness, that’s very unique for this mild heat peppers.
Aji panca is used from sauces and soups to seafood and rice dishes. It add a little zest to salads and fruits, and its sweetness spicing up fruit and chocolate-based desserts.
