Bergamot Orange Peel (Citrus Bergamia)

This dried peel of the bergamot orange, a fragrant citrus fruit from a tropical plant, gives aromatic fragrance. Ideal for flavoring tea, coffee, or pastry creams & everything you want to give aromatic fragrance of bergamot. Bergamot orange peel provides high amounts of antioxidants and antimicrobial properties.
Bergamot peels are also a key ingredient in popular tea flavors such as Earl Gray.

Suggested uses: Place the few dried peel in a tightly sealed jar of loose black tea leaves, and leave for a few days to infuse. The tea will absorb the bergamot (earl grey) flavor of the peel.
