The Chiluacle Rojo is grown exclusively in southern Mexico, the regions of Oaxaca and Chiapas and they have a dark-red color. Richer and deeper flavos than the chilhuacle amarillo, with tones of dried figs, liquorice and a hint of wild cherry. Has a medium, sweet heat., about a 3-4 on a heat scale of 1-10 and 1250-2000 on the Scoville Heat Scale.
