Grano is the Italian selected durum wheat, lightly polished to remove part of outer bran, makes a golden-colored kernels for quicker cooking pasta like dish.
When cooked, it has mild pleasant pasta-like flavor profile, cooks to al dente texture, and adds an additional nutritional value to salads, pilafs, soups or entrees.
Cooking Instruction: Add 1 cup of Grano to 3-1/2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, simmer for 35-40 minutes, drain excess water.
