Has fragrant flavors with balanced heat. This authentic fragrant & relatively spicy Indian Style yellow curry powder is a blend of exotic spices, used in seasoning Indian day to day dishes, that provides a tasty & aromatic curries.
Ingredients: Coriander, Cumin, Turmeric, Ginger, Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Cloves.
Simple recipe to make Indian style spicy curry.
Add 2tbsp oil to a heated pan, add 1 small chopped onion, stir fry until translucent, add 1tbsp ginger & garlic paste, stir, add 2tbsp ‘Hot Curry Powder’, add little water if needed, stir, add 1lb cut pieces of Meat, Fish or Vegetables, stir, I cup diced tomatoes, stir-fry for 5 minutes, add I cup of broth or water and salt to taste, bring to boil, cover & simmer on low heat (for 15-30 minutes) until soft & tender, garnish with chopped cilantro (coriander), and serve steaming hot nan bread or basmati rice.
The purist in me would always want to blend my own masala. However, this superior blend of ten spices saves the day when I'm short on time by taking the guess work out of the equation and still provides ample flavor to the dish at hand. Madras curry powder is equally as good.
