Instant Dry Yeast is also known as quick rise active dry yeast, will readily dissolve in the ambient moisture of a dough, and doesn't need to be hydrated or proofed before being mixed into flour.
To use in place of active dry, incorporate directly into the dry ingredients, and add any ingredients used for proofing (warm water, sugar) to the dough along with other liquid ingredients.
General Rule: Use 3/4 teaspoon (approx) of Instant Dry Yeast for each cup of flour.
Ingredients: Yeast, Sorbitan monostearate. Ascorbic acid.
