Licorice Sticks are harvested from the root of licorice plant, washed, cut into narrow strip / torn off pieces, sifted and dried. It adds richness and complexity to both sweet
and savory dishes with a warm, subtly spicy, bitter-sweet aroma. Flavor can be quite intense and a little goes a long way.

Suggested Uses:

Dried Licorice c/s are simmered into liquids (water or broth), makes it a powerful aromatic ingredient and used as a base for soups, stews, sauces, and other dishes. Strain out all the cut pieces before serving.
It is also a popular ingredient in tea because of its sweetness and health benefits.
In a pot, add 1tsp cut pieces/cup of water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-15 min., Strain and drink. Do not use long-term or take in
high dosages .

A sip of Licorice tea can kill sugar cravings and settles stomach problems.
