Barley Tea, Roasted Barley (Mugicha / Boricha)

Roasted barley tea (Mugicha/ Boricha) is roasted barley grain to make a traditional barley tea in China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea.

Barley tea is a refreshing tea, has a mild, toasty and nutty flavor with slight bitter undertones.

Barley tea helps to cleanse the body, reduce stress, wonderful for indigestion, cool down the body to bring down fever, useful for bronchitis and asthma.*

To make hot Tea: Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1tsp barley, cover and steep 1-2 minutes. Strain, may add sweetener if desired & drink.
