Orange Blossom Buds

Orange Blossom Buds (Flor de Azahar) are collected from sweet orange tree, before petals turn into fruits. Contains vitamin C and potassium. Dried buds can be used in foods and beverages or added to pot pourri.

Orange buds are made into tea and may increase appetite; reduce phlegm; and treat coughs, colds, intestinal flatulence, and acid indigestion. Also use it as a tonic.*

To make Tea: Pour a cup of hot water (190-205ºF) over 1-2tsp buds, steep for 2-4minutes, strain and may add milk, honey or natural sweetener to taste.
