Oregano, Dominican (Oregano de la isla)

Dominican oregano (Lippia micromera) also known as 'Jamaican Oregano, Cuban Oregano'', and is darker in color, more savory, and quite pungent than the more common Italian variety, and smells a bit like bitter oranges.

It is slightly spicy and has the more robust nature, works exceptionally well with dark meat, gives an extra tasty flavor.
