A vibrant blend of white rice with spices, herbs & seasonings for a traditional southwestern rice dish known as Spanish rice.
Combine with meat or fish and vegetables for a flavorful main dish, or add raw shrimp, scallops or whitefish or stuff cooked rice into chicken or fish.
Basic Preparation:
Combine 2 cups water and 1 cup Spanish Rice, bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 18-20 minutes or until tender but still firm. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes covered. Fluff with fork before serving.
