Sweet Potato Flour, Gluten Free

Sweet potato flour is finely ground dried light yellow sweet potatoes, is light tan in color and has a somewhat sweet flavor. It is high in fiber, contains a higher level of carbohydrates and lower level of protein.

Sweet potato flour rehydrate quickly in boiling water, create “instant” mashed sweet potatoes. It can be used for baked goods, such as breads, cookies, muffins, pancakes and doughnuts, and as a thickener for sauces and gravies.
