Yuca Flour, Farinha de Yuca

Yuca (Manihot esculenta) also called manioc or mandioca, made from the whole root of the cassava plant, a staple crop in South America, Asia and Africa. It has a mild flavor and light texture, an excellent choice for gluten free cooking and savory baked goods.

Often used as a substitute for wheat flour to make breads, cakes, pasta, dumplings, starchy custards and puddings. Also used as a breading for fried food & African FuFu.
