Dried Pale-Yellow color Peas are harvested from yellow variety matured peapods and dried. Dried Yellow Peas have a more delicate flavor and when cooked make a wonderful, slightly hearty, thick and creamy texture.
Used to make wholesome soups, salads, dal, curries, casseroles and other dishes.
Basic preparation: Wash, rinse & soak overnight. Add 3 Cups of water / Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 60-90 minutes or until desired tenderness (add more water as needed). Then cook uncovered over low heat until desired consistency.
