Diastatic malt powder is milled from the whole malted barley kernel, formulated to provide enzymatic activity, sweetness and appealing crust color to baked goods.
Use in all types of yeast-raised dough, produce a finer texture and longer keeping quality product. Promote a strong rise, adding a mild natural malt flavor, great texture, and lovely golden-brown crust.
Use: Mix with dry ingredients, follow recipe or use about 1/2 tsp per 3 cups of flour (not more than 0.5% by weight of total flour).
Ingredients: Malted barley flour, Wheat flour, Dextrose.
