Fregola Rustica Mix
This enticing mix of Quinoa, Wild rice and Fregola sarda (pasta), for an elegant, savory, quick-cooking blend. When cooked it have creamy, delicate, nutty flavors.
Makes a unique risotto-style dish, salad. Perfect with game birds, duck, grilled mushrooms.
Cooking Instructions:
- In a sauce pan add 1 1/2cups of water or broth / Cup rice, salt to taste.
- Bring to a soft boil, lower the heat, cover with lid and simmer for 20-25 minutes or grain are soft but not sticky.
- Turn off the heat, let the rice steamed in the covered pot at least another 10 minutes or until the rice has absorbed the liquid.
- Fluff with fork and ready to serve.
One cup of rice will yield: 2 1/2 cups of cooked rice.
