Jade Pearl Rice
Jade pearl rice is an Organic Chinese short grain rice infused with bamboo extract. When cooked, it produces, sticky yet fluffy texture, jade-green color rice with bamboo forest aroma and a light vanilla taste.
Jade Pearl Rice makes pretty plate presentation. Used in sushi, rice salad, risotto and desserts.
Adding bamboo extract makes this rice loaded with antioxidants.
Cooking Instructions for plain rice:
- In a sauce pan add 1 1/2cups of water/ Cup of washed & rinsed rice, add pinch of salt to taste (optional)
- Stir lightly, bring to a rolling boil, lower the heat, cover with lid and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is sticky yet fluffy.
- Turn off the heat, let the rice steamed in the covered pot at least another 5-10 minutes or until the rice has absorbed the liquid.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
One cup of rice will yield: 3 cups of cooked rice.
